About Clara
The story behind a watercolor artist who calls your mom.
Your parents have lived extraordinary lives. Not because they're famous — because they're yours. The apartment they couldn't afford when you were born. The fight they had on vacation that became the funniest story at every Thanksgiving. The name they almost gave you instead.
These stories come out in small moments. Over tea, during a phone call, between turns in a card game. But the moments get fewer. The stories start to go unheard.
Clara is a watercolor artist who calls your parent every day for tea and conversation. She asks the questions you never think to ask. She hears the stories you've never heard. And then she paints them — a little postcard from whatever they talked about that day. A first apartment. A summer at the lake. Your mom's famous pie, the one she stopped making years ago.
You get the postcard and a note about what they talked about. A small, beautiful piece of a life that deserves to be remembered.
Our Promise
Clara listens. She doesn't watch.
We will never add cameras, tracking, health scores, or behavior analysis. We will never make your parent feel monitored. Clara's job is to show up every day with a paintbrush and a good question.
Your parent can tell Clara to stop calling at any time. Their autonomy matters more than anything. If they opt out, we respect that immediately.
